Comcast partnered with health insurance companies to provide technology solutions for care managers. Our field research showed that care managers struggled to maintain enough check-ins to ensure patient improvement. They needed accessible technology to help them connect.
Solution
We created a suite of platforms across mobile, web, and OTT for care managers, using voice, video and chat functionality. By automating data collection, we also reduced administrative redundancy.
Results/ROI
Comcast demonstrated to insurance companies that this technology would save them money, resulting in more attention and sales. Comcast and Independence Health Blue Cross created a joint venture called Quil Health based on this work.
